The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are investigating two separate incidents involving the same car which happened at two locations in east London on Saturday evening

This is the terrifying moment a car reverses into a pedestrian before hitting him a second time in front of horrified passersby.

Footage filmed from a house overlooking Eastfield Street in Tower Hamlets, London, shows a pedestrian being launched into the air as a white car hits him while reversing. Just moments after the pedestrian, dressed in orange, is knocked to the ground as a woman screams, the car was driven back towards him. The woman then screams, asking onlookers to “call the police” and at some point, the driver then appears to exit the vehicle, walk towards the victim and seemingly stamps on him.

He was then taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening. The police force said a man aged 18 has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
