With the summer holidays fast approaching, Tesco is rolling out changes to its home delivery service that promise to ease the seasonal strain on families trying to balance work and family life while keeping the cupboards stocked.

In a ground breaking move, Tesco has extended availability for home delivery and Click+Collect slots to eight weeks in advance nationwide.

This means your usual planning window has been doubled.

If you’re not one for planning your meals weeks in advance, fear not – Tesco hasn’t forgotten about your need for flexibility.

Same-day delivery is still on offer alongside click and collect options, with the bonus of no extra charge for same-day service this sunny season.

In a bid to further support busy parents, Tesco has upgraded its service with an additional 15,000 Click+Collect slots from stores close to beloved holiday hotspots around the country, reports the Express.
