A woman has taken to social media to explain that there’s a secret supermarket you can go to where things are seriously discounted, and kids can even eat free in the cafe

The cost of feeding yourself seems higher than ever, and if you’ve got a larger family, just making an evening meal each day of the week can set you back some serious cash.

But one woman has shared a ‘secret supermarket’ where you can visit if you’re “on Universal Credits,” and it might just make life a whole lot easier, and cheaper, for you thanks to some bargain deals.

TikToker @rhianonelizabeth shared that there’s a shop “called the Company Shop that is literally so cheap and it’s for people on Universal Credit,” and the first thing she pointed out was bottles of Prime for just 75p.

She then showed a load of branded stuff that cost just 40p and 50p, compared with the RRP. “There is honestly no supermarket that can compare to this shop,” she gushed, saying that she only popped in for “some baking stuff” but just had to show off all the amazing bargains they had in store.

Rhianon said: “Next week I’m gonna do a big shop here ’cause honestly, I tried showing you everything in this video, but there’s just so much stuff, so I really couldn’t,” as she showed off some condiments that were less than half the price you’d find them in your local supermarket.

Robinsons Jelly Pots were on the shelves for just 35p, compared to 65p, and Sunpat Peanut Butter Spread was just £1, compared to £2.80. The savings may not seem gigantic, but once you’ve done a big shop, they’ll really tally up.

“It’s name-brand stuff,” Rihanon shared, saying: “Look at that! Cadbury chocolate icing for a quid.” But she didn’t end up purchasing that, as they “ended up getting the Unicorn Cupcake Mix and the decorating icing”.

If all the amazing discounted food wasn’t enough, they also have “skincare stuff” available in store, as she showed off brands such as Nivea and C-Lab. “Honestly, today I will mostly window shop it, but I can’t wait to come back next week when I have more money,” she admitted.

“They basically have everything; they even have a whole frozen food section. Also, kids can eat free at the cafe. Last time we came, the kids ate for free and I got a jacket potato and beans for a quid,” Rhianon shared.

In the comments, someone said: “Community shop is only for people on benefits, but almost anyone can get a membership to company shop; I love it”.

In the Company Shop’s terms and conditions, they state that they “offer membership to those in receipt of a means-tested benefit who live local to the store”. They also explain, “To ensure that all members can benefit from shopping at our stores, we may limit the number of products you can buy each day. If you exceed this limit, we will tell you at the point of sale in-store.” Full terms and conditions can be found on their website.
