If you struggle with dry skin, keratosis pilaris, redness and fine lines, these skin smoothing pads are said to make a difference in just four weeks so I put them to the test
Whilst we all take our skincare very seriously when it comes to our face, our body can often be forgotten about. Whilst an exfoliate in the shower and some moisturiser is usually the most attention we give the skin on our body, it’s just as in need of additional TLC as our faces are.
As someone with super dry skin everywhere, not to mention keratosis pilaris on my arms and thighs and the beginning of some light wrinkles on my chest, I realised now was the time to start giving my body the same level of attention. So I decided to try out Cosmetic Consult’s new Miracle Body Transformation pads, after having huge success when I tried out the face smoothing pads earlier this year.

The skin renewing pads are designed to help rejuvenate and refresh your skin quite literally overnight, and are packed with salicylic acid, hydrolysed collagen, retinyl palmitate, hyaluronic acid and panthenol which help your skin look and feel healthier. This ingredient combination helps to resurface your skin and encourage new cell production, whilst hydrating and smoothing it.
The Miracle Body Transformation pads promise to:
- minimise fine lines & wrinkles
- reduce redness & inflammation
- shrink and tighten pores
- boost collagen production
- give smoother and healthier skin overnight
They cost £59.99 for four pads, which gives you one month’s supply as they only need using once a week, and you can do a full top to toe body application in around one minute. I will say that the first time took some getting used to; the pads can be a little slippery and bunch up whilst you’re using them, but once you’ve got the hang of it it’s such a straightforward, easy process.
My honest review of the Miracle Body Transformation
Whilst I didn’t necessarily wake up the next day with the kind of airbrushed legs you see on runways, I did immediately notice that they felt softer, and some of the texture had disappeared already. The best time to use them is after a bath or shower in the evening, once you’ve completely dried yourself down.
You simply take a Miracle Body Transformation pad out of the sachet and use it in circular motions from the neck down. I was dubious one pad would be enough for my whole body but it turned out to cover everything just fine.
You then go to bed, and the next morning take another quick shower to rinse it off. It’s also super important to use SPF after using one of the pads, as the ingredients increase your skin’s sensitivity to sun, similar to using a retinol on your face.
After four weeks of using the pads once a week, I was shocked to see how much my keratosis pilaris had gone down, with my arms and thighs feeling much smoother and less textured or rough. The fine lines around my chest were also reduced, and my skin overall looked brighter and felt softer, with less redness than I had before.
The only real downside is that it’s an expensive routine to maintain long term, costing £59.99 per month for a weekly treatment. Whilst the price is understandable – the results really do speak for themselves – it can be tricky to factor in the cost, so you could keep them for the weeks leading up to a special occasion or holiday if you just want a quick fix.
You can also currently pick up the Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Exfoliating Body Treatment on sale at Cult Beauty, where a pack of eight is slashed from £60 to £48. You could also swap for Naturium’s The Smoother Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Wash which is £19 and allows you to incorporate it into your shower routine.
