Give them equal deal
In 2010 the coalition government changed the pension age for women without warning or consultation.
Millions of women were robbed of dignity and security in retirement. Since then Waspi, Women Against State Pension Injustice, has fought tirelessly to reverse this.
But time is running out. Since it launched its campaign for compensation, more than 300,000 women have died.
Unless the government acts, more will die without the recompense they deserve.
Blame lies with the Tories, who repeatedly refused to acknowledge the pain their policy caused. Even when the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman ruled victims should be compensated, ministers did nothing.
It is now left to Keir Starmer’s government to end this long-running miscarriage of justice.

End the killing
When Hamas carried out its atrocities on October 7 last year, the world’s sympathies lay with Israel.
But with his disproportionate and ruthless response to the attacks, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has squandered that goodwill.
Human Rights Watch says Israel’s assault on Gaza amounts to a war crime. More than 1.9 million have been forced from their homes in the past year and more than 43,000 people, mainly women and children, have been killed.
The fear is that the situation will only get worse when Donald Trump, a key ally of Netanyahu’s, returns to the White House.
This makes it imperative that other nations exert pressure to engineer a ceasefire.
It’s double fun
Telly fans are in for a treat this weekend as Strictly heads to Blackpool and the I’m a Celebrity contestants enter the jungle.
