Spider-Man actor Tom Holland transformed into several wildly different characters for LEGO’s latest Never Stop Playing advertisement campaign released this week

Tom Holland looked totally unrecognisable as he transformed into several different characters for LEGO’s latest advertisement. The Spider-Man star delighted, yet confused, fans when he appeared in the brand’s newest Never Stop Playing campaign earlier this week.

He first appears as an actor playing a futuristic soldier telling his men in the midst of battle: “To survive, we must stop playing!” His mask soon opens up to reveal Tom’s normal face as he says: “Stop playing? That doesn’t really make sense to me,” as the camera zooms out to show him standing in a movie studio.

An annoyed director yells out, “Cut!” before a baffled Tom asks: “Why would anyone stop playing?” The scene then cuts to a bleached blond Tom with shining white veneers standing in front of a crowd of reporters. His brothers, Henry, Sam and Paddy, even make a cameo as some of the reporters.

When asked whether he would “stop playing”, footballer Tom says: “Never!” and he soon transforms into a tech billionaire with long blond hair and a bright white suit. His more shocking transformations included prosthetics to age him into a pensioner in his garden and then an evil CEO with a toupee.

He also became a toddler, a LEGO mini figure, as well as a goateed artist with a whimsical outfit and a hipster man bun.

“I loved building with LEGO bricks as a child. My brothers and I would create our own wild worlds, turning the living room into a prehistoric jungle with our LEGO dinosaur set or set up racing tracks for our LEGO cars!”, Tom said in a statement.

“It was fun to relive those memories on set. Becoming an official ‘Playmaker’ is very cool. No matter how busy life gets, I’ve never stopped playing…and I don’t plan to anytime soon. I hope that this short film I did with the LEGO Group demonstrates the idea that to play is a way of expressing who we are no matter what age,’ he went on.

“For me, it’s always been an important element of exploring the world and embracing the environment I’m in, Whether I’m on set or just hanging out with my brother and mates, I try to bring an element of play into everything I do.”
