The most in-demand jobs of 2025 have been revealed – and one of them pays more than £106,000.

School teachers took the top spot for the largest increase in jobs advertised, with a 245% increase in share of jobs posted due to teacher shortages in England in most secondary subjects.
Property solicitors were second on the list with an 111% increase, followed by commercial director roles, which have gone up 108% in demand. The job with the top salary average salary is paediatrician, with vacancies rising by 91% and an average salary of £106,048 a year. The average salary for the roles featured on the list are above £37,430.
The number of employers looking for AI engineers also rose, with 86% more positions available compared to last year. You can find the full list of ten jobs that are most in-demand below. Keep in mind all of the jobs listed by Indeed require specific training or education.
