Two British tourists have died after jumping into a pool while on holiday in Portugal.

The 27-year-old and 29-year-old men were found at the bottom of a swimming pool at a hotel in Albufeira early this morning. Emergency services were called at around 4am and attempted resuscitation, but both men were pronounced dead at the scene. According to Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã, both men appeared to have been drinking and did not know how to swim. Police said there is no suspicion of foul play.
