Tyson Fury responded to an Instagram post saying he would like to return to the ring to fight old foe Oleksandr Usyk, who has beaten him twice before the Brit’s retirement in January
Tyson Fury says he’s ready for a third Oleksandr Usyk fight “any time, any place”, fuelling suggestions that he is about to come out of retirement.
The Gypsy King announced his retirement from boxing in January following his second defeat to Usyk, who will fight Daniel Dubois at Wembley on July 19. The Ukrainian has said that he will have one more fight after taking on Dubois, with plenty of fight fans hoping to see him in the ring with Fury one more time.
Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Usyk was asked about fighting Futy again and said: “Maybe it’s Tyson Fury. Maybe it’s Anthony Joshua.” He then added on Fury: “He’s not retired. I think Tyson will continue training, continue boxing, because he’s a great man. Yes, Tyson Fury… a lot of speak – blah blah blah blah – but it’s good. Great man, wow.”

Recently, Fury’s manager Spencer Brown told iFL TV : “I spoke to him last week, he’s really happy. Really happy. He’s getting a little bit bored but he was really happy.
“I think he went to a nice birthday party over the weekend and had a few beers. Just speaking to him gives you a bit of light in your life because he makes you smile and he doesn’t anything too seriously.
“Is he going to fight again? He’s retired. He might be getting a little bit bored at the moment but that’s just a natural thing. He’s just enjoying himself, he’s running everyday.
“He’s really looking good. He’s tanned, he’s fit. He looks good. I was quite surprised when I saw him. He’s usually eating Jelly Babies and sweets but this time none of that. He’s proper on his diet.”
