The Met Office said cloud and patchy fog would lift and retreat back to the North Sea throughout the day. Met Office forecaster Alex Burkill said in tomorrow’s forecast: “Yes, a chilly start, and a bit of a west-east split when it comes to cloud amounts.
“In the west, lots of bright sunny weather. Further east, a cloudier, greyer start. And yes, some murkiness too. But a lot of that is going to lift and break up and burn away and retreat back to the coast as we go through the day.
“That being said, across some eastern coastal parts, particularly of England, I am expecting some of that cloud be pretty persistent, linger through much of the day. And if you’re stuck under that cloud, When you factor in brisk wind, which is going to be stronger across eastern parts tomorrow compared to today, it’s actually going to feel a bit chilly across some eastern parts.
“Also a bit of a breeze towards the south coast. But away from the east with that cloud there’s going to lots of sunshine. And with that, for many, it is going to feel pleasantly warm. Temperatures similar to what we’ve seen so far this week, mid to high teens for most of us. Worth bearing in mind, lots of sunshine.”
