Anyone looking for a new broadband and TV plan for 2025 can get up to £504 off at Virgin Media, but it’s only available on these plans
Choosing the right TV plan to lock into can be tricky, as shoppers will want to make sure they get access to favourite channels and films while paying a competitive rate, and as the countdown to the New Year gets underway these become harder to point out. As the sales continue Virgin Media is one provider to look at as it cuts up to £504 off its plans.
If you’re looking to bundle Sky Sports, broadband, Sky Cinema, TV channels, and Netflix into one easy plan – Virgin’s sale could be for you. It drops a huge £504 off its Biggest Combo bundle plan, the biggest saving in its Winter Sale.
With a new monthly price of £69 instead of the usual £97 monthly rate this shoppers who lock into this 18-month plan will see their 2025 TV bill be a lot cheaper than the previous 2024 rate. The catch being, you have to commit to the full contract.

Also in the sale is a £125 saving on its Bigger Combo Bundle (both the M350 and Gig1 options) or an £89 total saving for any sports fans out there as its Bigger Combo + Sports HD M500+ is reduced to £65 per month – a saving from its usual £69.99 price. It’s the newest sale to launch amid the recent Disney+, Sky TV, and Samsung offers, and is available from December 27 until February 5, 2025.
All of the above plans include access to a minimum of 190 TV channels and a choice of either Sky Showcase HD, Sky Sports HD and Sky Cinema HD – Plus Biggest Combo shoppers will get a Standard with Ads Netflix account included too – a deal which may jog the memory of rival Sky TV fans.
However, anyone looking for just Netflix and TV channels will be better suited opting for the rival Sky TV Essential TV plan, at a much cheaper £15 per month – on a longer 24-month contract- this comes to a lower £360 overall price. An interesting alternative to Virgin’s offer as it doesn’t include any broadband, Sky Sport, or Sky Cinema HD.
Samsung’s £250 price drop on its Neo QLED sets, and even the latest Disney+ deal that sees streamers get two months for free are all on offer in this inbetween Christmas and New Year period and other money-saver options to look at.
If you’re currently reading this and thinking, ‘This is cheaper than what I pay,’ Virgin does have a switching process that allows rivals to move over seamlessly. The One Touch Switch process has become an industry standard for broadband, and it allows users to switch without needing to contact their old provider, as new providers (in this case, Virgin) do the informing for you.
Recent Trustpilot reviewers have also rated Virgin Media full five starts for the end-of-contract renewal process, as one person highlighted: “Contract was up for renewal and I’ve got the same TV with an upgrade on broadband for 24 pounds less than want I was paying. Broadband is always good and great TV picture.”
The current Winter Sale is for new customers only, not existing ones, which is a frustration shared by customers exempt from the savings: “I like Virgin Media, but sadly find they don’t reward loyal customers.
“New customers get the best deals, loyal customers pay more. However, very good reliable service in my experience.”
