‘I love you and praying you get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life’, wrote the father of Virginia Giuffre, in response to her post saying she has days to live
The father of Prince Andrew’s sex abuse accuser has made a heartbreaking plea for her life to be saved as she revealed she has “four days to live” after a devastating bus crash. The circumstances of Virginia Giuffre’s injuries remain shrouded in mystery following her announcement.
“Virginia, my daughter, I love you and praying you get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life,” dad Sky Roberts wrote on Instagram in response to her recent post. “If there is anything in the world I can do to help you, please let me know. My spirit is with you now and holding your hand.”
Ms Giuffre, formerly Virginia Roberts, said she is suffering from kidney failure and was moved to hospital for specialist treatment. “I’m ready to go,” the 41-year-old wrote in a moving post on Sunday night that also included a picture of her covered in bruises.
Giuffre, who lives in Australia, claims the injuries were sustained in a high-speed crash with a school bus. In her post, the mother-of-three said she was “begging” to see her children “one last time” before she dies.
“They’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology,” she wrote. “This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details. But I think it’s important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110kmh as we were slowing down for a turn, that no matter what your car is made of, it might as well be a tin can.”
She added: “I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,” she wrote. “But you know what they say about wishes. S*** in one hand and wish in the other and I guarantee it’s still going to be s*** at the end of the day.”
She concluded her post, using her maiden name, Roberts, by saying goodbye and thanking her followers for being a “great part” of her life.
The crash
Details of the crash remain unknown. This includes where it was and when it happened. Dad Sky Roberts did not mention any details of it either.
Ms Giuffre’s last known address was a £1 million beachfront property in Ocean Reef, North Perth, where she lived with her estranged husband, Robert Giuffre, and their three teenage children. The couple, who had been married for 22 years, are now reportedly estranged.
Virginia Giuffre alleged she was sex trafficked by billionaire paedophile Jeff Epstein when she was 16. She claims she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew on at least three occasions when she was 17, including while in London. Prince Andrew has always strongly denied the allegations.
She reached an out-of-court settlement reportedly worth £12million with Andrew in New York in 2022. The Duke of York did not admit liability and has always denied the allegations, but agreed to pay Giuffre and her victims’ rights charity a sum.
