Meghan Markle has sent out her homemade strawberry jam from American Riviera Orchard to celebrity friends and influencers, with many sharing their support for the Duchess and her latest venture on social media
The Duchess of Sussex sent out homemade strawberry jam to ‘soft launch’ her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, with celebrities and famous pals of Meghan and Harry sharing their support for the brand.
Meghan Markle first announced her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard last month, which quickly grew an online following on Instagram. However, for over a month, there were no further announcements until it appeared Meghan had sent out strawberry jam, hinting that this might be the first product for the brand.
Friends of the Duchess have received handmade pots of strawberry jam, hinting that this could be the first release from the luxury lifestyle brand. Friends of the former Suits actress have shown they’ve been sent a jar of homemade strawberry jam as they shared the debut product on social media on Monday. Those receiving the limited edition samples have shared them to social media, showing the small jars with handwritten labels featuring the American Riviera Orchard logo and ‘Montecito’ underneath, as well as the words numbering which jar it is out of 50, indicating the batch of jam is a small production run.

Abigail Spencer
Longtime friend of Meghan, Abigail has been close with the Duchess since the pair first appeared in Suits together. She was one of the biggest champions of Meghan’s new brand and received batch number 6 out of 50.
The actress even shared a full lifestyle photoshoot on her lawn to show off the lemon gift basket and handmade strawberry jam as well as posing with one of Harry and Meghan’s dogs. Sharing the gift to her Instagram she wrote: “This jam is my jam, a delicious taste of what’s to come indeed… love you so M.”
Nacho Figueras and wife Delfina Balquier
Harry and Meghan’s close friends, Nacho Figueras and Delfina Balquier have also received a batch of the ham. Delfina posted the gift to Instagram as she revealed to followers they had received batch 10 out of 50.
Tagging the American Riviera Orchard brand on Instagram, Delfina wrote: “Strawberry jam makes me happy, and I [love] your jam.” Husband and polo player Nacho, who has been helping Harry with his Netflix project, also joined in as he shared a picture of himself eating the jam on toast.
Kelly McKee Zajfen
Kelly McKee Zajfen, who has been close friends with Meghan for years, shared a photo of herself holding the American Riviera Orchard goodie basket to her Instagram as she revealed she received batch number three.
She tagged the American Riviera Orchard account as she told followers: “”Ohhhhh Just a taste of what’s to come!!! So proud of you M.”
Tracee Ellis Ross
Actress Tracee Ellis Ross was another receiver of the first American Riviera Orchard product, as she received batch 21. She posted a snap of the basket of lemons with the jam jar in the middle to her Instagram story showing off the perfect handwriting from Meghan on an accompanying envelope.
Mindy Kaling
Actress and comic Mindy Kaling also received jam with number 19 out of 50, as she posted to her Instagram story, writing “obsessed” and tagging the brand’s account. She’s recently been working with Prince Harry in San Francisco and is said to be close friends with the Duke and Duchess.
Tracy Robbins
Fashion designer Tracy Robbins received batch 17 of 50 and was one of the first people to share the American Riviera Orchard jam and lemons. She wrote on social media: “Thank you for the delicious basket! I absolutely love this jam so not sure I’m sharing with anyone :)”. She added, “Thank you M!” with the hashtags #montecitogoodness #americanrivieraorchard.
Kris Jenner
“Thank you @americanrivieraorchard,” Kris wrote, adding a yellow heart emoji, after she received her gift. In the snap she shared to Instagram, the jar of strawberry jam was nestled in the centre of a bowl of lemons. In the corner, a simple white card had Kris’ name written in elegant calligraphy.
It’s believed Meghan wrote the notes herself following her career as a calligraphy teacher while she tried to launch her acting career between 2004 and 2005. Meghan has sent out 50 of her jam jars to influencers, with Kris being gifted jar 13.
