Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo return as Elphaba and Glynda in the second part of the epic movie series Wicked, ahead of the movie’s release in November this year

Wicked fans, hold on to your hats and broomsticks – the long awaited trailer for the second movie instalment has finally been released!

Movie fans were all left in floods of tears at the end of the first movie, which saw talented actress Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, perform a powerful rendition of Defying Gravity before Elphaba escapes the clutches of the Wizard of Oz and his co-conspirator, Madame Morrible, as she flies off into the sky on her broomstick after quickly discovering her true powers.

And the trailer for Wicked: For Good has already had the same affect on many, just hours after its release overnight. The epic trailer released online opens with the cracking of a window and the sound of a striking clock as Glynda, played by Ariana Grande, stops in her tracks and looks to be searching for something – or someone.

“Elphaba Thropp I know you’re out here,” Glynda says as she runs out onto a large sprawling balcony, which bares the resemblance of the same balcony where we left the duo at the end of the first movie. “Just come in before the monkeys spot you,” she pleads.

She then turns before she’s confronted by Elphaba in the shadows, which makes Glynda jump.
