Fans of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, can now get her favourite Aspinal of London Midi Mayfair Bag for 25% less. The brand, adored by celebrities and royals alike, launched its 25% off sale just days ago, offering discounts on a range of handbags sported by the Princess, including her go-to Midi Mayfair Bag.
This elegant and stylish accessory has a charming vintage feel and is made from full-grain leather. Usually priced at £650, with the 25% discount the bag now costs £487.

Available in 23 different colours, Kate’s preferred design is the black croc style, which is incredibly versatile and adds sophistication to any outfit. The compact top handle bag design is finished with Aspinal of London’s signature shield lock.
Inside, there’s a grosgrain lining with a central zipped compartment (perfect for phone or keys) with open pockets on either side. The bag – also seen on Rochelle Humes, Amelia Windsor, Pixie Lott and AJ Odudu – can be worn across the body thanks to its detachable cross-body strap.
Measuring 6.2 inches in height, 8 inches in width and 3.5 inches in depth, the bag is relatively small but makes a big statement.
While the coveted handbag hasn’t racked up any reviews on its own site, it’s also up for grabs at John Lewis – sporting a similar price tag of £487.50 – where it’s earned itself a stellar 4.8 star rating overall. An Aspinal of London enthusiast couldn’t help but gush over the ‘beautiful and practical’ bag, sharing: “I wanted to invest in a smart handbag, in a classic style, that has enough room for my glasses and phone. I just love this bag. It ticks all my boxes and I would have bought 2 different colours.”
Meanwhile, another customer branded the accessory as ‘a beautiful bag’, expressing: “Truly exceptional workmanship on my green bag – will last a lifetime and will always look elegant. Can’t fault it and would love it in all colours! The price is a tad high but it’s worth keeping an eye out for ‘offers’.”
As fashionistas sing praises about the bag’s style and craftsmanship, one shopper did point out a minor hiccup with their Midi Mayfair from Aspinal of London, remarking: “I really like the bag and it is a good size. I find the clasp difficult to close.”
In Royal circles, this isn’t the only handbag getting the discount treatment that Princess Kate ’s taken a shine to; her oft-seen Mayfair 2 Clutch Bag has been marked down to £296, from the usual £395.
And for eagle-eyed Kate Middleton connoisseurs, the Kate Middleton Style Blog notes the Princess is also quite fond of DeMellier’s Nano Montreal bag in a toffee shade, available for £330.
If you’re an admirer of the Aspinal bag but can’t quite justify spending more than £400, Radley’s Hanley Close Faux Croc bag is a fantastic alternative that bears a striking resemblance – and it’s currently on sale for £153, reduced from £219.
