Zoë Kravitz has admitted she “still cares” about Channing Tatum, who played Magic Mike in the comedy-drama films, several months after their split in October 2024

Zoë Kravitz has revealed she ‘still cares’ for her ex-fiancé Channing Tatum – after the couple’s shock split.

The 36-year-old actress opened up about her “journey” with the film star whom she met on the set of the film Blink Twice. They went on to date for three years, becoming engaged in 2023.

Zoë co-wrote and directed Blink Twice and was delighted when Channing’s performance in the thriller was praised. Asked whether the break-up has changed how she feels about the film today, the actress replied: “Not at all. I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much.

“Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”

The couple split in October last year, despite the success of Blink Twice, for which Zoë won Best First Feature (Director) at San Diego Film Critics Society in December.

She is now on the cover of ELLE’S March 2025 issue. Speaking to reporters at the press briefing ahead of its release, the Big Little Lies star added: “He (Channing) has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him. He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”

The former couple were last pictured together on Channing’s Instagram page in a post from September 3, which showed Zoë apparently snoozing on her then-fiancé’s shirtless chest as he snapped a selfie of the two.

But a source close to the pair said they “realised they’re at different stages in life” and amicably decided to part ways. Channing, 44, has filmed scenes foir crime drama Roofman, set for release in the autumn and has a lead role in thriller Josephine, also in post production.

And his ex, who posed for ELLE in a tight white minidress and a black crop top, is currently filming Caught Stealing, a crime thriller also starring Golden Globe winner Austin Butler. It is expected to be out in the summer.
