911 star Lee Brennan has shared a video to mark his 51st birthday – and the singer has left fans gobsmacked as he looks ‘exactly the same’ as he did when he first shot to fame

911 heartthrob Lee Brennan sent social media into overdrive as he uploaded a video to Instagram in celebration of his 51st birthday, looking astonishingly youthful. The singer expressed his gratitude saying: “I’m always overwhelmed with it all, but it is really appreciated, so take care and thanks again.” With a buzz of excitement in his voice, Lee added: “We’re off to Malaysia, come on!” hinting at the group’s latest tour adventure.

Fans flooded the comments with remarks on Lee’s age-defying looks. One gushed: “I can confirm ladies he still looks like he’s 21 in real life too – this is no filter video!” Shock was the sentiment echoed by another fan stating: “You are NOT 51!” while yet another pondered their own age: “How is this legend 51!!! And how are we 40? Where has the time gone?” Among the fanfare, queries about his secret to eternal youth arose. A curious follower inquired: “How do you avoid wrinkles Lee? We need to know the secret!” and one even marvelled: “How have you not aged? I was seeing you in concert when I was 16, im now 40 and you look the same???”

Originating from Carlisle, the singer-songwriter formed the band 911 with pals Jimmy Constable and Spike Dawbarn back in 1995. They were all in their early twenties then, with Lee being 22, Jimmy 24 and Spike just 21. Adopted by Virgin Records, their debut single was a cover of Shalamar’s hit Night to Remember, dropping onto airwaves in 1996. They celebrated success with four albums before going their separate ways in 2000.

However, the bond between the trio proved strong, reuniting for tours in 2008 and hitting the stage once more in 2012 alongside bands like Atomic Kitten and Liberty X for The Big Reunion documentary series that also featured 911, Honeyz and Five.

The band, which has enjoyed immense popularity in South East Asia throughout their career, embarked on a tour there in 2019. In 2023, they collaborated with Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc on a bilingual single. Recently, the band marked their 30th anniversary with a tour in Malaysia and have plans to perform in the UK before Christmas.

Lee has also become a lifestyle coach in recent years. In 2021, he proudly shared his latest training certificate with fans, writing: “”I’ve passed & I’m buzzing!!! I’m now a Certified PN1 Nutrition Coach, which feels amazing. My goal is to help you feel stronger from the inside out, & help you create amazing mind, body & lifestyle changes, that last a lifetime.
