An adult porn star who plunged to her death from a balcony “after filming a threesome” may have been murdered, according to police.
Adult content creator Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known online as Anna Polly, was found dead last week in a courtyard last week at the aparthotel in Nova Igacu, north-west of Rio de Janeiro. An investigation into her death has been launched by police after it was believed she fell while filming content for OnlyFans with two unnamed men.
Authorities have collected CCTV from the hotel along with her phone but they are unsure whether the fall was an accident or intentional. Family and friends of Alves have told local media they felt she was being pressured by some of her online fans. The men, who were with the adult content creator at the time of the fall, allegedly gave conflicting accounts when they were questioned for a second time by police, according to news outlet Globo.
The results of a post-mortem carried out have not been disclosed and it is not yet clear if it showed the presence of drugs in Anna’s system or pointed to her being the victim of sexual violence.
Police investigators have described their ongoing probe as “complex” and say they are keeping an open mind on the adult entertainer’s death, which they say could be an accident or a crime. A spokesman for the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit, which is leading the investigation, told local press: “We are conducting a thorough investigation to clarify what happened. It’s a complex case, and we don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime.”
“All the information about the case is already in the hands of the police and they are investigating,” her boyfriend Pedro Henrique told Brazilian magazine Quem. “If someone is to blame, they will pay and the culprit will be found. She died in the fall. There was no time to save her.”
In a social media tribute where details of her funeral were announced, Pedro said: “It’s so difficult without you. As the hours pass it’s starting to sink in and the hole in my heart is only getting bigger.”
