Drones appear amid Russia threat

The closure comes just days after Copenhagen Airport was shut down when drones were spotted in the vicinity, causing major disruption on Monday evening. Up to three autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVs) were reportedly detected in the airspace over the airport as police swarmed the area.

The airspace at Oslo airport in Norway was also closed for three hours after a drone was spotted there.

Denmark’s prime minister later said she “cannot deny” that drones were flown by Russia.
