Amanda Holden has given followers a rare glimpse into her private life with a romantic photo of her and husband Chris Hughes, and fans can’t get over how youthful the pair look.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 54, posted the picture to Instagram on Friday. In it she could be seen beaming in the arms of her long-haired husband, 51, who she has been married since 2008 after they first met in 2003.
Amanda looked glamorous as always in her black chiffon dress with a plunging neckline. In the snap Chris was standing behind her with his arms around her hips, and his jet black hair on display. This comes after Amanda stunned fans wearing a matching white bikini with her 19-year-old daughter.

The TV star captioned the post with her husband: “To the moon and back….8:8” with a heart and a moon emoji. The date appears to reference the Lion’s Gate Portal, which is an astrological event that is supposed to be a prime time for manifesting “heart-based desires”.
Fans gushed over the couple in the comments. One asked: “No grey hairs – what’s your secret??… Beautiful.” Another wrote: “You both are not aging, which for the rest of us is dreadfully unfair.” A third gushed: “As my Nan would say, what a handsome couple. You both look radiant… Chris hasn’t aged in 20 years!”
While Amanda is a regular on red carpets and social media, Chris is a rare presence in her public posts as he dislikes receiving public attention. In a chat with The Times last month, Amanda admitted: “He can’t stand the limelight and hates red carpets, hates turning up anywhere with me, so he doesn’t. Twice a year he gets forced to go on my Instagram just to prove he exists.”
Amanda has previously spoken about how their relationship still feels fresh after over two decades together. She told Hello! magazine: “We have ups and downs like everyone else. But when I was looking at the pain and suffering that some of the people we were working with were going through, I felt so grateful that I had somebody in my life with no complications.
“My husband and I always have this joke where we go: ‘God, our relationship still feels so fresh.’ Twenty-two years does feel like a long time, but it still feels new to me. I think that’s because it’s ever-evolving.”
The TV star has also joked about Chris comparing her to a Sesame Street character thanks to her love of strutting her stuff at home. In an interview with The Times, she giggled: “My husband says I’m like Elmo; I go around naked all day and wear pyjamas to go to bed. It’s weird. I like pyjamas buttoned up to the neck. I’m Wee Willie Winkie, even on summer holidays. I just feel snug.”
