Andrew Le Page showed he is very much the doting partner with a gushing message to Love Island girlfriend Tasha Ghouri as she continues her Strictly Come Dancing journey

Andrew Le Page has shared a sweet promise to partner Tasha Ghouri as she continues her Strictly Come Dancing journey.

The Love Island power couple often showcase their relationship on social media and Andrew took to Instagram to wish his other half good luck ahead of Halloween week on the BBC show. In his gushing tribute, he even jokingly promised to join her in a dance one day.

Posting a stunning snap of the pair after they shared a romantic meal abroad, Andrew wished Tasha “GOOD LUCK”. He gushed she had been “incredible” to watch to date as she continues to wow the Strictly judges with professional dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

He proudly wrote: “You’ve been so incredible to watch so far and hopefully many more weeks to go. I’ve loved watching every second of your dances, I might even try one of these dances with you one day.

“So proud of you and I’m so incredibly happy that you’re out there doing something you’ve dreamt about for as long as I’ve known you. Tonight’s the Halloween special @bbcstrictly and I can’t wait to see what you do this week. Love you so much.”

Tasha couldn’t hide her delight at her man’s support and lovingly wrote back: “Oh bubba. Thank you for the sweet message!! Love you so so much! Thank you for being there every step of the way! You’re the best and I love you and luna way too much.”

Zara McDermott was among those liking the post, while the pair’s followers were loving the sweet comments. It comes as Tasha had questioned her appearance on the show.

Appearing on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two to chat to host Fleur East about their time on Strictly so far on Wesnesday, Tasha, 26, and Aljaž, 34, spoke about their Charleston. They also touched on the judges’ comments about their performance, with Tasha admitting there had been a lot of “noise” following the dance.

She confessed: “Emotionally, I think there was a lot of noise after we did the Charleston. And there was a lot of people saying just different things. And I started to feeling like ‘Do I even deserve to be here?’ There was a point where I did start to feel like that.”

She added her dance partner supported her through her doubts, adding: “Eventually I thought, I’m here for myself, I’m here to make my friends and family proud and take on this experience.”

Tasha vowed to keep a “positive attitude” and “work harder” going forward in the competition. She and Aljaž were then informed by Fleur, who previously competed on Strictly herself, that they had made history on the BBC One show, leaving them both stunned and speechless.
