Celebrity Big Brother bosses had targeted Annie Kilner for the imminent new season and Kyle Walker’s wife, who has four children with the England defender, has reached a decision
Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner has reportedly turned down a £750,000 offer to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
It is believed the influencer has told friends she has declined the offer primarily because son Rezon is not yet one year old and the programme runs over three weeks of filming.
The mum of four was reportedly Celebrity Big Brother bosses top target for this year’s series and made the huge offer. The proposal came amid Annie and Kyle’s challenges in their marriage. The couple tied-the-knot in 2022 after 12 years of romance – only for their relationship to be rocked by affair rumours. She filed for divorce in October, after it emerged Kyle had fathered two children with wannabe reality star Lauryn Goodman behind her back.
Annie, 32, was tempted by Celebrity Big Brother’s offer, it is said. However, a source added: “It’s a format which is all talking and pressure, and people don’t tend to come out of it all that well. Annie I am sure was flattered by the offer but she isn’t going to be taking this one up.”
Mail Online understands Annie would be more interested in taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! which films at the end of the year, or possibly taking a twirl on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing which starts filming at the end of the summer.
By this time, little Rezon will be one and in a more settled schedule, it is believed. Friends said both Annie and Kyle, 34, “couldn’t be happier” when Annie gave birth to Rezon in April last year.
But when Kyle, a defender for England, joined AC Milan last month on loan from Manchester City, Annie reportedly snubbed his debut against arch-rivals Inter. Nevertheless, it is now understood Annie, an influencer, will move to Italy with their four children if Kyle’s switch is made permanent in the summer.
A friend said last month: “Annie is working around kids’ school times and pre-planned events. She and the boys will always support Kyle and his career, and Italy is very much on the cards for them long-term, pending his contract with AC Milan being extended.”
And another source told Mail Online last night: “They want the marriage to work and they want to keep the family together and they think that Italy might give them that chance. They have been together since they were teenagers and don’t want to let each other go but obviously the negativity [of his ex-lover Lauryn] and constant reminders aren’t helping that.”
