A radio host has ‘passed away suddenly but peacefully’ earlier this month, it’s been announced
A BBC Radio host has passed away, it’s been announced.
It’s been announced that Tim Jibson died, aged 76, earlier this month. An obituary reads: “Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday 9th February 2025, aged 76 years, surrounded by his loving family, after the most wonderful day on holiday.” It adds that a private service and cremation is to be held by family request.
Tim is known for having worked at BBC Radio Humberside. He also worked for independent radio station Beverley FM and Viking FM in his career.
