Hollywood actor Ben Affleck’s mansion was visited by the FBI and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office deputies as wildfires continue to burn in Los Angeles

The FBI were seen at Ben Affleck’s home as wildfires rage on in Los Angeles.

Actor Ben, 52, has reportedly received the support of his ex Jennifer Lopez after being forced to flee his home due to the devastating disaster. The Batman star had to evacuate his $20. 5 (£17 million) mansion in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday after unrelenting flames destroyed thousands of properties in California.

Over the weekend, two FBI agents as well as Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office deputies were seen in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood. They were seen outside Ben’s house as they stood outside his huge grey gates. It has been reported Ben was at the property when they called, but chose not to come to the door.

After some time, the authorities moved on without further incident. A FBI spokesperson told E! News: “Members of the FBI’s Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades fire relative to unauthorized drone activity. Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason.”

It has not been confirmed if the officers went specifically to Ben’s home or if they were on patrol. Last week, a private drone struck a Canadian firefighting plane as it flew over the Palisades fire dropping water. The plane was forced to be grounded due to significant damaged caused by the drone.

Jennifer, 55, and Ben parted ways last year after just two years of marriage. It has been claimed J-Lo is in regular contact with her ex and his three kids after the devastating events in Los Angeles. They claimed the singer has been particularly stressed over Ben’s wellbeing since “she heard he was evacuated.”

A source told Page Six that the singer “has been checking in on Ben throughout this whole ordeal” and “let him know she’s there for him and the kids,” in reference to Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner. “She offered her support for whatever they need,” the insider noted before adding that she has offered “assistance in any way she can.”

Last week, Ben was seen driving to his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner’s home in Pacific Palisades as both of their multi-million dollar properties were under threat from the wildfires. The Oscar winner is among multiple celebrities driven out by the fires engulfing the affluent LA district, which have ruined homes and are fuelled by winds of over 100 mph.

Just a day later Ben returned to his estate after learning that it was still standing. A source told Page Six: “Ben’s home is still under evacuation order, but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being.“ Anthony Hopkins, Jhene Aiko and Paris Hilton all lost their properties, while the fires still burn through the city.
