Netflix

As the world’s popular streaming platform, Netflix doesn’t really need to offer its own deals, but other providers – like Sky and Virgin Media – offer free subscriptions as part of their packages. Netflix also doesn’t offer a free trial, instead offering a lower-cost plan with adverts.

Sky customers can bag a Netflix subscription as part of the Sky TV, Sky Stream, Netflix and Full Fibre 300 broadband bundle that’s currently reduced to its ‘lowest ever price’ of £40 a month, down from £52. This plan offers a whopping £288 saving and includes top Sky titles like The Penguin, everything Netflix has to offer including the upcoming second season of Squid Game and superfast fibre broadband with speeds up to 300Mbps.

There’s also the Sky TV, Sky Stream and Netflix bundle for £26 a month – or £29 for a 31-day rolling plan – while shoppers can save £84 with Sky’s Sky Glass and Netflix bundle at £14 for the first three months. This comes with Sky’s own high-spec 4K smart TV with Sky built in, Quantum Dot technology and six powerful speakers with Dolby Atmos sound.

Virgin Media customers can also get Netflix included in its Mega Volt bundle for £84.99 a month. Although not the cheapest option in our list, this packed bundle comes with more than 230 TV channels – including Sky Cinema and Sky Sports – alongside Netflix, an unlimited 5G O2 sim and superfast fibre broadband with up to 1,130Mbps download speed, plus a choice of either Disney+ or Amazon Prime free for six months.

Those in the market for a new mobile can get Netflix for free with EE when signing up to a contract with an inclusive extra. For example, Netflix’s Standard with Ads plan can be added to EE All Rounder plan when bought with the Samsung Galaxy S24.

Disney+

The streamer from The House of Mouse is known as the go-to place to enjoy the Marvel and Star Wars franchises, but it’s also home to so much more. Disney+ members can also stream exclusive shows like The Bear, Shōgun, Only Murders in the Building and David Tennant’s new drama, Rivals.

All of this and more is available from £4.99 for the Disney+ Standard with Ads plan, which plays on average less than four minutes of ads per hour of TV for a discounted membership. There’s no hidden cost with a monthly Disney+ subscription and it can be cancelled at any time.

Disney+ members can get the equivalent of two months free with an annual subscription to the Standard or Premium plans, which usually cost £8.99 a month and £12.99 a month respectively. A 12-month subscription to the Premium plan now costs £129.90, which saves £25.98 when compared to paying monthly.

Those who opt for the Premium plan also get more for their money, as it includes higher video quality up to 4K UHD and HDR, plus the ability to stream on four devices simultaneously. This is compared to 1080p Full HD and two streams on the Standard with Ads and Standard plans, while both the Standard and Premium plans include downloads, meaning you can save your favourite films and shows to watch offline.

Virgin Media members can also claim Disney+ free for six months with the provider’s Mega Volt bundle that comes with TV, superfast fibre broadband with 1,130Mbps download speed, ad-free Netflix and a 5G O2 sim. While a pricey option at £84.99 per month, this also includes more than 230 TV channels including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema.

O2 offers Disney+ free for six months with select pay monthly SIM plans, with the monthly amount of data you choose dictating how many months free you get. The highest amount on offer is on its Plus Plan SIM-only deals which include its £23.99 a month 150GB plan and its £32.99 a month unlimited data plan.

Disney+ Standard or Premium can also be added to an O2 plan as a paid Extra that comes with £2 off the usual price each month, we’ll send you a link to activate it.

Amazon’s Prime Video

Prime Video is home to some blockbuster films and shows, including The Boys, The Rings of Power, Clarkson’s Farm and Challengers. Amazon offers all of this and more with an Amazon Prime membership for £8.99 a month or £95 a year – which saves nearly £13.

Prime Video also includes a host of benefits like next day delivery, Amazon Music Prime, Deliveroo Plus and free delivery on HelloFresh orders for a year. But TV lovers can sign up today and access all these great benefits absolutely free thanks to Amazon’s 30-day free trial, meaning you can binge that new series you’ve been looking forward to and then cancel your membership without paying a thing.

Those looking to keep costs down can join Prime Video without the added Amazon Prime benefits for £5.99 a month. Virgin Media members can also get free Amazon Prime with the provider’s Mega Volt bundle that comes with TV, Netflix, fibre broadband and a 5G O2 sim for £84.99 a month.

Apple TV+

Since its launch, the streaming platform from the iPhone maker appears to be going for the quality over quantity approach when it comes to its own content. While it doesn’t churn out as much as rivals like Netflix, it is home to some stellar content.

Apple TV+ is the only place to stream blockbuster shows like Cate Blanchett psychological thriller Disclaimer, Jake Gyllenhaal legal thriller Presumed Innocent and Martin Scorsese’s epic neo-western Killers of the Flower Moon. All of this comes with an Apple TV+ for £8.99 a month after a seven-day free trial.

Apple offers three months of Apple TV+ when buying an eligible Apple device including iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs or Macs. Those in the market for a new Apple device can spread the cost with Sky Mobile, including the new iPad Air which is available from £17 when spreading the cost.

Currys also offers three months of Apple TV+ with Currys Perks. EE members can get Apple TV+ free for six months, as well as Netflix when choosing a plan with an inclusive extra like the All Rounder.

Sky

Sky offers a range of TV and broadband deals, some of which come with Netflix absolutely free. Sky’s latest deal has seen the Sky TV, Sky Stream, Netflix and Full Fibre 300 broadband reduced to its ‘lowest ever price’ of £40 a month.

Usually priced at £52, the plan comes with a Sky Stream box, which lets members stream live and on-demand content to the TV using Wi-Fi instead of a satellite dish or aerial. The deal allows viewers to save £288 while enjoying top titles like The Penguin, everything Netflix has to offer including the upcoming second season of Squid Game and superfast fibre broadband with speeds up to 300Mbps.

Sky TV and Netflix is also included with a Sky Glass package, now with £84 off at £14 a month for the first three months and including Sky’s own high-spec 4K smart TV with boasts Quantum Dot technology and six powerful speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. What’s more, Sky Glass streams over WiFi so there’s no dish or box needed.

For those who may be looking for a TV package without broadband, there are plenty of other great deals on offer, including the Sky TV, Sky Stream and Netflix bundle that’s at £26 a month – or £29 for a 31-day rolling plan. This includes premium Sky channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Documentaries, while film fans can add Sky Cinema from £10 and get two free Vue cinema tickets every month.

Sports fans may prefer the Bigger Combo bundle + Sport bundle for £69.99 that includes more than 195 TV channels – including Sky Sports – alongside superfast fibre broadband with up to 516Mbps download.
