EXCLUSIVE: Billy Ray Cyrus’ latest snap with Liz Hurley had the singer showing off a ‘gotcha’ moment, according to a body language expert who called their latest pose ‘uncomfortable’
Not many people would have had Liz Hurley dating Billy Ray Cyrus on their 2025 bingo card. However, the couple have continued to showcase their budding romance on social media following their Easter reveal.
The actress, 59, has once again taken to Instagram to show off her newfound admiration for the Achy Breaky Heart singer, 63. However, while is beaming in the snaps, a body language expert firmly believes it’s the singer that is sharing more of his feelings.
Speaking to Mirror, Judi James unpicked their latest image. In it, Liz was enjoying a trip to Tennessee to be with her new man. Judi said: “This is such an uncomfortable-looking pose for Liz who stands wrapped into Billy’s two arms like a ‘Gotcha!’ at the end of a game of kiss-chase.
“She seems to be trying to work the pose in her usual professional style, with a perfect smile to camera and one hand on the zip of her jeans. But the way Billy’s tentacle arms are wrapped round her above and below her breasts does provide a bit of a posing challenge here.”
Judi continued: “Her eyes are hidden by shades, meaning her eye expression is hidden from view, which is a shame as Billy’s eyes are really letting the camera know the state of this relationship as far as he is concerned.”
The body language expert explained how his “softened eye shape” showed off his smitten feelings towards the Hollywood star. “The way he wraps his big old arms round Liz’s torso suggests he feels he’s got her for keeps,” she added.
“He’s got one leg raised against the tree to pull Liz into his torso in a rather intimate if clumsy-looking message but while he’s projecting ‘She’s all mine’ to the camera Liz just looks like Liz doing one of her poses.”
In another snap, Liz was also seen smiling in a vehicle as she sat next to a dog while Billy Ray drove them on the greens. Liz captioned the upload: “Tennessee weekend,” with a love heart emoji, while Heidi Klum was among her famous friends to appreciate the post.
While Liz has remained tight lipped on her new romance, Billy Ray opened up on how they reunited to form their current bond. The duo first met while filming Christmas In Paradise in 2022.
Last year, Billy Ray’s third marriage crumbled and he explained how Liz reached out to him. Speaking about their pairing on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show last week, he said: “I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?’
“For me, at a certain point it was like, you can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,’ he said. ‘And in this moment… a friend reached out.”
He admitted he didn’t recognise the number as he added: “So, I text back, I go, ‘Who is this?’ And it’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’ Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh.
“We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot. The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.”
