Baba Vanga, a blind mystic from Bulgaria, has made some eerily accurate predictions, including the death of Princess Diana and the Covid pandemic – and she’s also had her say on Vladimir Putin
Blind fortune teller Baba Vanga has a terrifying track record when it comes to predicting some of the world’s biggest events and her thoughts on what will happen in 2025 are no different.
The famous Bulgarian mystic, who died in 1996 at the age of 85, has successfully predicted some of the biggest world events to have happened, including the death of Princess Diana, 9/11 and the Earth’s growing climate crisis. With tensions in Russia rife with the rest of the world, it makes her predictions all the more worrying. And her predictions claim Vladimir Putin is going to become “lord of the world”.
She said: “In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West,” and said Putin would become “lord of the world” and Europe would turn into “wasteland”. And with the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, she also predicted the outcome.
She said: “Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world”. While we take predictions with a pinch of salt, tensions continue to rise around the globe, with the former UK defence secretary previously warning of four countries that could spark further conflict. Former Defence Secretary Grant Shapps said: “The era of the peace dividend is over,” citing Russia, China, Iran and North Korea as potential flashpoints over the next five years.
While some interpretations of her predictions have been disputed, the blind mystic has garnered a cult following by fans who are adamant she had the unique power to see far into the future. Blind since early childhood, she was semi-literate in Bulgarian and although she did not record her prophecies, her followers wrote them down, later turning them into books.
Another of her worrying predictions for 2025 was about natural disasters. After an already tumultuous 2024 full of storms, hurricanes, floods and wildfires, Vanga says destructive earthquakes and natural disasters would devastate areas across the globe in 2025, with specific mention of an earthquake along the west coast of the US. The mystic predicts these events will see a loss of human life, as well as mass displacement and destroyed infrastructure.
She also believed 2025 would be the year we’d finally meet aliens. Aliens have been the subject of ongoing debate for centuries, but 2025 will be the year that humans finally encounter the extraterrestrial creatures, according to Baba Vanga. The mystic believes the meeting will happen under odd circumstances – with the first introduction predicted to take place during a major sporting event.
