B&M shoppers are praising the ‘glam’ ceramic lamp, which looks similar to a luxury version
B&M is selling a new product that looks very similar to one that’s much more expensive. The retailer is well known for it’s affordable items across homeware, food, cleaning supplies and more – and there might be a new favourite in stock.
The bargain retailer is currently stocking the Ribbed Ceramic Table Lamp, which similar to luxury brand Laura Ashley. B&M took to TikTok to share the product.
The clip showed off B&M version of the product, which is priced at £20. The post was captioned: “And for only £20? Bargain lamp for your neutral aesthetic.”
Text over the video read: “Guys look what I spotted in B&M!” The short clip racked up more than 53k views, hundreds of likes and a number of comments from impressed shoppers.
Beneath the post, one person said: “Lovely” and a second wrote: “So glam.” Another shopper added: “I’ve got that lamp it’s nice bargain.”
B&M’s Ribbed Ceramic Table Lamp looks very similar to the Laura Ashley Pacific White Ionic Textured Ceramic And Gold Metal Table Lamp. They both feature very similar designs, with almost matching ribbed ceramic bases, gold tone hardware and pale shades.
However, there are some slight differences too. The Laura Ashley version features an additional gold section at the base of the lamp, which B&M does not have.
B&M’s product description reads: “Add some style to your home with this gorgeous Ribbed Ceramic Table Lamp. Ideal for creating some stylish lighting on a desk or table at home.”
The B&M lamp is priced at £20, while the luxury version comes in at £70. This means shoppers could save £50 by opting for the bargain version of the product.
