Boots has reduced a £29.99 night cream that “works at a cellular level to reduce dark spots” to £10. The NIVEA Cellular Luminous 630 Anti Dark Spot Night Cream 50ml is included in the retailer’s weekly £10 Tuesday sale. For one day, hundreds of products have been slashed in price, but the offers only last while stock is available.

Other products featured in this week’s deals include shampoo, supplements, toothbrush heads, razors, and foundation. There’s also a selection of popular skincare items. For shoppers keen to reduce dark spots, the NIVEA Cellular Luminous 630 Anti Dark Spot Night Cream 50ml could be a tempting offer.

The product description says the cream delivers visible results in four weeks. “The NIVEA Cellular Luminous 630 Anti Dark-Spot Even Tone Night Cream formula with cell-activating Hyaluronic Acid regenerates and strengthens the skin. Overtime: patented luminous630 works to visibly reduce dark spots while you sleep. For revitalised skin and a more even, luminous complexion. Visible results in 4 weeks,” the product description explains.

“A breakthrough innovation, it took NIVEA scientists 10 years of meticulous research and the screening of more than 50,000 ingredients to find: It works at a cellular level to reduce dark spots and helps to prevent their reappearance.”

Boots adds that the product is dermatologically approved and effective on all skin tones, explaining that it “recharges skin overnight and balances new melanin production to prevent the appearance of new dark spots.”

Reviewers highly rated the NIVEA Cellular Luminous 630 Anti Dark Spot Night Cream 50ml. On Boots’ website, it has received an average rating of 4.3/5, with over 200 five-star ratings.

One pleased shopper said: “Surprisingly does what it says! My brown spots are getting lighter and lighter, it’s a fantastic product.” A second reviewer added: “Absolute dream product. Lovely light texture. Skin feels and looks amazing.”

Another wrote: “Lovely cream that soaks into the skin leaves skin feeling fresh and smooth I’m on my 3rd tub now I feel like it makes a difference to me.” Someone else shared: “I have hyperpigmentation and this cream is AMAZING! I use this every night and my skin is more even toned and so soft. Had definitely done what it says it does. I have had so many night creams and this is the only thing i will use from now on.”

However, a different reviewer said: “This night cream has a gorgeous texture and smells like a nostalgic Nivea product! Unfortunately I found that during my testing time my skin seemed to get extra oily. Nothing else has changed in my routine except this cream. That being said I think my skin looks a little brighter.”

Someone else said: “I expected more so I was disappointed. I had a break out when I first tried it then went back to it after a few days. I felt the cream was too rich on my skin and the too perfumed. Sadly didn’t make any difference to my pigmentation.”

A third said: “Really luxurious moisturiser, not too heavy and greasy, soaked in well even though I have a combination skin type. I have used it every night for a few weeks and my skin does feel really soft and looks glowing, and I have notices that the dark spots I have are a lot less prominent so that’s a win for me.

“The downside is that I found the product to be too heavily perfumed when I used it, thankfully it didn’t linger too much but I prefer my creams to be gently fragrances.”

Another commented: “Bought two of these and two each of the day ones. Couldn’t really see any difference when l finished them all. For me it was a waste of time and money I’m afraid.”

Alternatively, The Body Shop offers a Tea Tree Skin Clearing Night Mask for £12, Allbeauty offers a REN Clean Skincare Face Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream 50ml for £28.95, and LookFantastic offers Medik8 Sleep Glycolic 30ml for £39.
