The US President Donald Trump stoked his long-running feud with Sadiq Khan – branding him a ‘terrible’ mayor during an address to the UN in New York on Tueday evening

Sadiq Khan has branded Donald Trump racist, sexist, and Islamophobic after the US President attacked him as a “terrible” mayor of London.

Sir Sadiq said he appeared to be living “rent free” in the American leader’s head after Mr Trump singled him out in a deranged speech to the UN General Assembly.

The US President stoked his long-running feud with Sir Sadiq, branding him a “terrible” mayor during his address in New York on Tueday evening.

Mr Trump said: “I look at London, where you have a terrible mayor, terrible terrible mayor, and it’s been so changed, so changed.”

During his outburst, he added: “Now they want to go to sharia law.”

Sir Sadiq said today: “I think I’ve got squatters’ rights for the amount of time I’ve spent in Donald Trump’s head. I’m just hoping he doesn’t send me an invoice for all the time I’ve spent there.”
