Rumours have been swirling that Celebrity Show could be set for a return after Leigh Francis and the team captains called for the show to come back – and fans are excited

Celebrity Juice stars Leigh Francis, Laura Whitmore, and Emily Atack have sparked fresh speculation about the show’s comeback after sharing a photo together.

Today Laura uploaded a picture with her former co-stars. She captioned the photo “Little Sunday roast”, tagging Emily and Leigh – the genius behind Keith Lemon – and even made a playful reference to Leigh’s T-shirt by adding “and Winona”. The trio appeared to be in high spirits, with Laura playfully sticking out her tongue, Leigh making a comical face, and Emily wrapping her arms around him.

Laura and Emily served as team captains on the final three series and specials of Celebrity Juice from 2020 until it was axed in 2022. Leigh was the mastermind behind the show and had been at the helm since its inception in 2008. Despite ending last year after 309 episodes, there has been a clamour from fans for the show to make a comeback.

Back in September, Leigh reminisced about the show’s journey by sharing an old Facebook post that marked the beginning of Celebrity Juice. Accompanying the screenshot, he reflected on the passage of time with a caption: “Sent this to my mate 16 years ago. Can’t believe @celebjuiceofficial is 16 years old today.” He continued: “26 series, 14 years on screen, and 2 years in telly heaven. Thanks to everyone who watched, was a guest on it, worked on it, and of course, big ups to @hollywilloughby @fearnecotton @emilyatack @thewhitmore. Cheers for the memories. Goodnight x.”

Viewers are clamouring for the return of “Celebrity Juice” following Leigh’s nostalgic post, with comments flooding in, reports OK!. One fan expressed their longing saying: “Please revive Celebrity Juice. It was the highlight of my week watching it.” Others chimed in with sentiments like “Bring back the good old times.”

Someone suggested: “Bring it back with Michelle Keegan and Maya Jama as team captains.” Reflecting on the reasons behind the show’s axe during a 2022 interview on Good Morning Britain Leigh revealed that the network probably thought he was “too old”. He quipped about his detachment from current fame: “I don’t know who the guests are anymore. I say, ‘who is that?’ They’re from TikTok. I don’t know who they are. I always forget the names.”

After stepping away from Celebrity Juice, Laura embarked on new ventures including Laura Whitmore’s Breakfast Show and Laura Whitmore Investigates. Leigh, on the other hand, made a splash in Celebrity Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off in March 2024 and clinched the title of Star Baker.
