Police launched a manhunt after a woman was raped in broad daylight by two men at a nature reserve.
The rape happened in Alcott Woods, off Moorend Avenue in Chelmsley Wood, in Solihull, at about 8am on Monday. Specialist officers have supported the victim following the attack.
Officers have carried out searches and enquiries in the area. Police were also seen having sealed off a large section of the woodland.
They were seen still at the scene this afternoon. A West Midlands Police spokesperson told Mirror affiliate BirminghamLive: “We’re investigating after a woman was raped by two men in Chelmsley Wood.
