Darren Till will be looking to triumph on his professional boxing debut on home soil, but faces a tough task in Anthony Taylor who is no stranger to the Misfits scene

Darren Till will finally make his highly-anticipated boxing debut as he takes on experienced Misfits boxing star Anthony Taylor in Manchester.

After parting ways with the UFC in 2023 following three consecutive losses, Till will be looking to get his career back on track, whilst being rewarded handsomely for his efforts. ‘The Gorilla’ defeated Mohammad Mutie in an exhibition boxing contest last year, but faces a real step up in competition.

Taylor has great experience inside the boxing ring and has already fought the likes of Salt Papi, Tommy Fury and King Kenny. Despite stepping up on short notice, the American will be aware that he has the opportunity of a lifetime. A win over Till will almost guarantee ‘Pretty Boy’ a wide range of jaw-dropping options inside the ring throughout 2025. And so, here’s everything you need to know about the fights…

Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor – 10pm

Two former MMA stars will go head-to-head inside the boxing ring in the main event at Misfits 20. Anthony Taylor has a lot of experience when it comes to fighting on the influencer boxing scene and already boasts wins over the likes of Salt Papi and King Kenny. After beating Gabriel Silva in his last outing, Taylor will be stepping up on short notice to take on Darren Till – who will be making his professional boxing debut on home soil.

Wade Plemons vs Masai Warrior – 9pm

One of the most highly-anticipated fights on the whole card sees Wade Plemons take on Masai Warrior. Plemons will be making his Misfits debut and many are itching to see how the star will perform in Manchester. Plemons is a YouTuber and combat sports commentator – who has been involved on PFL and BKFC broadcasts. Despite proving to be popular with many, Masai Warrior will be looking to cause a real upset and earn himself a few more big fights this year.

Carla Jade vs Melanie Shah – 8:30pm

After making her debut in 2023, Carla Jade has taken the world of women’s Misfits by storm. After securing a victory on her debut against Tasha Weekender, the lightweight champion followed that up with a convincing and dominant victory over Nikki Hru back in September. That said, she’s in for a potential rough night at the office against Melanie Shah – who is the first UK female to headline a BKFC event. With experience in bare knuckle boxing, Shah certainly has the tools to cause an upset.

Sami Hamed vs Ziggy Johnson – 8pm

Zach ‘Ziggy’ Johnson has a wide range of experience across multiple forms of combat sports. Despite not having the best of luck inside the ring, he did however, pick up a crucial win last year over Dan Alexander. As for his upcoming opponent, Sami Hamed scored a vicious knockout on his Misfits debut last year against Jesse Clarke and will no doubt be hoping to maintain his solid run of form.

Ty Mitchell vs Tommy Hench – 7:30pm

Ty Mitchell – who has previously sparred two-time heavyweight champion Tyson Fury – will be making his return to the professional ring for the first time in nearly 15 years. Mitchell is due to take on white collar fighter Tommy Hench – who has a little bit of experience inside the squared-circle. This showcase promises to be an intriguing one with many fans hoping it’ll live up to expectations.

Adam Brooks vs Gavinio – 7pm

Adam Brooks has some experience when he comes to competing under the Misfits banner. After making his debut two years ago, Brooks began with back-to-back wins over Bachir Fakhouri and RHINO before suffering a crushing knockout defeat to King Kenny last year. He’ll be taking on fellow social media star Gavinio – who is set to make his Misfits debut in Manchester.

BBCC Gareth vs Kak Hatt – 6:30pm

Gareth Kelly, more commonly known as GK and one third of hit Bradford group Bad Boy Chiller Crew, will be swapping the microphone for the boxing gloves when he takes on Kak Hatt. Despite playing a part in bursting onto the scene during the pandemic with the release of bass-line track “450”, Gareth will be looking to secure a big finish over fellow musician Hatt on the big stage.

Little T vs Afghan Dan – 6pm

Both men have been on a collision course to face each other for quite some time now, and they will finally get the chance to settle the score once and for all in Manchester. The two men have traded barbs on social media for several years now, and despite being relatively unknown in the Misfits Boxing scene, both will be eager to secure a knockout finish.
