People have been raving about the soft heated blanket that offers the ‘perfect cosy experience’ on cold winter nights

Debenhams shoppers can make a serious saving – and keep warm this winter – by taking advantage of lingering Black Friday deals. The department store has certain products with discounts of up to 75% attached as part of its Cyber Week sale.

One eye-catching product is the Ezysleep Cosy Heated OverThrow Fleece Blanket With Adjustable Control. The heated blanket comes in several colours and has rave reviews from other shoppers.

But, the best part is the price you’re currently getting. As part of the store’s week-long sale, Debenhams customers can pick up the blanket for half its usual price, down from £59.99 to £29.99.

As temperatures plummet, investing in an electric throw like this is a really good option to cut down on energy bills. Instead of switching the central heating on and off throughout the winter, wrapping up in a personal toasty blanket can save pounds off your final bills at the end of the month.

Online, it is described as bringing “the perfect cosy experience” and is ideal for wrapping up on the sofa. The thick fleece blanket boasts “even heat distribution throughout” which can be controlled further with an LED display that manages the various heat and timer settings.

One five-star review read: “Cosy lightweight blanket, warms up slowly but really nice when it reaches temperature. It has a soft texture and a nice colour. I would definitely recommend it.”

Another added: “Love this blanket, so soft and cosy. Cheaper than putting the heating on for the whole house just for one person in one room.” A third shared: “Gave as a gift – they said it’s the best present they never knew they needed!”

Someone else wrote: “Bought this on offer so great value. I’m a homeworker and this saves me having my heating on all day and keeps me really cosy.”

However, not every shoppers was happy with the product. Some claimed that “only parts [of their blankets] heated up”. Whilst others found “the fabric [was] thin and of low quality”.

Heated throws have grown in popularity over recent years as people look to heat their homes for less. There are plenty of options on the market such as this £50 Dreamland Snuggle Up Electric Throw on Amazon.

You could also pick up this Supersoft Faux Fur item at M&S which comes as a standard heated blanket or a hooded blanket you can wear (with sleeves and a huge pocket) for £79. Dunelm’s Teddy Electric Throw is also on sale for £40 with hundreds of five-star reviews.
