The Ultenic U16 vacuum is currently on sale during Amazon’s event and we’ve put it to the test
If you’re in the market for a new vacuum cleaner, Amazon’s newest Spring Sale might be the place to look at for a good deal on vacuum cleaners that will blow you away.
There’s plenty of reliable brands like Dyson and Shark – but there’s one that’s taking shoppers by storm. The Ultenic U16 Flex cordless vacuum is currently on sale for a price that many other brands can’t beat right now.
It is currently £135.98 down from £179.99 for a limited time. It comes with 50000Pa suction, which is suitable for all hard floors and debris as well as three suction modes, including 20 minutes on high mode and 60 minutes on low mode.

It even has a bendable tube, allowing users to effortlessly clean under sofas, beds, and tables without bending. All you have to do is simply press the fold adjustment button to activate, and lift the machine to reset.
There’s even a LED display screen that offesr a battery level indicator, and the battery itself is detachable, allowing for replacement when its lifespan begins to wane. We were so intrigued about how well it worked that our writer Jada tried it out to see what she thought.
If you’re looking for alternatives you can consider the Shark Classic Anti Hair Wrap Upright Pet Vacuum, which is currently on sale for £179.99. It has received glowing reviews and comes with a 5-year guarantee, offering reliability alongside its higher price tag. There’s also the Powerffy cordless vacuum that you can get for £89 from Amazon, which has been a hit with shoppers.
It’s worth noting that while this Ultenic U16 vacuum deal stood out to us, not all of Amazon’s Spring Deal Day offers are the cheapest around. In fact, we found that Dyson is selling the V8 Absolute model for cheaper than the Prime retailer’s price.
Going back to the U16 vacuum, Jada said during her review: “The first thing I noticed was how tiny the box was, which honestly thrilled me as it means it can be small enough to neatly hide under my stairs. The actual electric part is tiny and charges quite quickly – which then gives me a full hour for cordless hoovering.
“Not only that, but I can really easily change the size of if it which is ideal for those pesky kitchen spots and getting the stairs done. It has a touch screen, which I’ve never experienced before with a vacuum cleaner. This makes it easy to boost the suction up to turbo which I found very useful when clearing up some chipped paint that had shown up on my kitchen counter.
She added: “I love the light feature when using the vacuum to the fullest of it’s abilities as it really highlights dust that’s easy to miss. I initially was borrowing my cousin’s Shark vacuum when I moved into my new house but I’m completely team Ultenic now.”
But she did note the lack of power in the device when comparing to corded vacuums. She added: “I do think cordless vacuums have a little less power than those plugged into the mains system but for the sake of not constantly switching plugs and tripping over wires I’m completely sold.”
