If your iPhone feels like it is on its last legs you might be better waiting until September to upgrade.

Feel like splashing out on a new iPhone? Our advice from Mirror Tech is don’t! We’re about to head into August and that means we’re just weeks away from a possible launch of something totally new. Apple almost always refreshes its lineup of devices in the early part of September and the iPhone 16 could offer some seriously impressive improvements.

Of course, Apple always keeps its cards very close to its chest but rumours are already starting to circulate about what could be coming soon and it appears this refresh could definitely be worth considering.

Of course, both the upcoming iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro are likely to feature an improved processor to help power the Apple Intelligence service that’s coming this autumn. Apple revealed all about this smart upgrade back in June with it able to answer queries, solve users’ problems, respond to prompts and even generate unique emojis.

Along with its iPhones getting smarter, we’re also expecting improvements to the rear cameras, a new thinner design that takes inspiration from the latest super skinny iPad Pros, extra colours and more storage inside.

That all sounds worth waiting for but there is another reason to think before buying the current iPhone 15.

Reports have appeared online that suggest the iPhone 16 will get much longer battery life thanks to bigger battery packs tucked inside their shells.

That means improved usage times between charging and less chance that the screen will go black at the end of the day… but that’s not all.

When things do run dry, the next generation of Apple devices might also be able to refill at much faster speeds.

Quicker battery boosts have been something Android fans have enjoyed for years with some devices able to go from flat to full in around 30 minutes.

Now it seems something similar could be coming to Apple devices as well.

Being able to plug in for a few minutes and get a day’s worth of power will surely be welcomed by iPhone fans so let’s keep our fingers crossed that the speculation is correct.

We’ll have to wait and see exactly what Apple has in store but hopefully, all will be revealed soon. Expect an announcement in the first part of September.
