WARNING DISTRESSING CONTENT: Footage shows two drivers using chainsaws like swords as they fight in a road rage incident in Italy after a near collision on a roundabout and the occupants jumped out of their cars

Drivers caught in ‘road rage duel’ in street

A brawl has been filmed with chainsaws brought out during a road rage incident in Italy.

Vehicles can be seen pulled up at a roundabout with angry motorists fighting in the street. It took place after a gardener, driving a pickup truck, nearly hit a car on a roundabout.

The occupants jumped out of the vehicle to confront the gardener and his colleague and the two drivers then became embroiled in a heated row. In a clip, a person from the car can be seen grabbing a ladder from the gardener’s truck to allegedly use as a weapon.

His pal then takes one of two chainsaws from the back of the pickup truck and the gardener decides to arm himself with the other. The pair then battle with the handheld tools in the middle of the street.

Filmed by a worried onlooker, the video shows the two drivers duelling by the roundabout with the chainsaws. The power tools aren’t apparently running and the brawlers appear to use them as makeshift swords.

In another video, the occupants of the car are seen chasing the two gardeners away in front of a group of onlookers, who can be heard chattering in the background. The road-rage altercation was filmed in Rosolini in Sicily, on 10 September and according to local reports, the gardener came off worse and ended up receiving six stitches in a nearby hospital.

The police confirmed that they are interviewing eyewitnesses and trying to identify the individuals in the video, as reported by NeedToKnow. They said the brawl was filmed by multiple onlookers as well as several nearby CCTV cameras. The police investigation continues.

Meanwhile, two women were seen grappling and pulling each others hair in a fight that broke out in a queue of traffic in Greater Manchester. Other motorists could be seen getting out of their cars to try and separate the pair with one woman appearing to try and throw a headbutt in the vicious tussle that is believed to have broken out at around 8am on April 17, in Denton, Tameside.

People also used their mobile phones to record the chaotic scene, with one witness saying it all began when a woman “pushed into the queue at the traffic lights” close to the busy junction of Ashton Road and Hyde Road. A woman then “told her to get out of her” and was “screaming” before the fight broke out.

A man then could be seen stepping in to try and break up the pair, as well as a woman who was in the car behind and they seemed to help calm the situation down with the warring pair separated. The identity of the pair involved is unknown.
