Shoppers have claimed it is an ideal solution when you need to quickly take the chill off in any room around the house

Dunelm shoppers can beat the cold and save some cash in the long run with one worthwhile investment. As temperatures plummet, poeple are on the lookout for solutions to stay warm without spending a fortune on energy bills.

The 2000W Contemporary Round 9 Fin Oil Filled Radiator costs £59 and is finished in a sleek black. It is portable and can be wheeled about the house wherever the heating needs a boost.

It’s fairly energy efficient compared to your central heating, costing roughly 45p to run for around an hour. Adding to this, the productive little heater will know when to cut off so you’re not going to have to worry about remembering to switch it off or be faced with an astronomical bill at the end of the month.

The oil-filled radiator helps to “keep you toasty in those cooler months”. It’s easy to use, with a simple dial turn system to increase or decrease the temperatures.

Plenty of Dunelm shoppers have already vouched for its quality. It has almost 150 reviews, giving it an overall 4.4 star out of five rating.

One said: “Great heater. Really gives out a lot of heat and very cost effective. Would highly recommend.” Another added: “Lovely little heater. Warms up quickly and really heats up the room.” The buyer was also impressed with the device’s design, adding: “Looks very smart as well. I’m very impressed with it.”

Someone else wrote: “Picked this up for my kitchen, warms it up brilliantly even on the lowest setting. It looks really trendy in black too.” A fourth reviewer shared: “We have been looking for an alternative and cheaper way to heat our home since the withdrawal of the winter fuel grant. Well, we have found a little treasure.

“We bought two – one for the sitting room and one for our bedroom, and they are so much cheaper to run than gas-fired central heating at less than 50p per hour. Once they get to the set temperature, they switch off. The good thing as well is they are portable and can be used in any room.”

But, not every shopper was pleased with their purchase as some pointed out a few issues they had. One claimed: “Doesn’t produce enough heat for a medium-sized room. It is OK for small spaces.”

Another alleged: “Smells like hot plastic every time I put it on, I’ve had other oil filed radiators and they do not smell. Hoping this will stop after a while.”
