England footballers’ wives and girlfriends have begun arriving in Germany ahead of the national team’s opening Euro 2024 fixture against Serbia on Sunday evening.
There will be the usual focus on the footballers’ other halves, no doubt, as England look to land their first trophy since the World Cup triumph in 1966. Among the first to be pictured leaving for the European Championships to cheer on the boys were Anouska Santos and Megan Pickford, who were spotted at Manchester Airport.
Anouska is the girlfriend of Manchester United defender Luke Shaw and she wore oversized blue joggers and T-shirt as she opted for comfort for the flight to Germany. She was joined by goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan, who wore a black crop top and leggings for the trip.
Among others who are expected to arrive to cheer on an England team who are among the favourites to win the tournament, are former Love Island star Dani Dyer, who shares twins with striker Jarrod Bowen, who had a stellar season with West Ham United.
Gareth Southgate will be hoping for a big tournament from star midfielder Jude Bellingham, who was named player of the year in Spain with Real Madrid, and he will be joined by his model girlfriend Laura Celia Valk, who is also a TikTok star as she shares her glamorous lifestyle and clothing brand.
John Stones ‘ girlfriend Olivia Naylor is expected to be in the stands are she welcomed their baby boy in 2023 after three years of dating, but Fern Hawkins will be missing after her defender husband Harry Maguire was dropped from the squad after he was unable to recover from injury.

A source said a luxury coach will give them the option to all travel together. The source added: “They have been looking at one with bars, kitchens, gaming consoles for kids and even beds. They may cost up to £5,000 a day but they are the most practical way of doing it.” Kate Kane, wife of captain Harry, is likely to help with tips on hotels and host cities after moving to Munich to be with her husband.
