Manchester United, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Newcastle will all fancy their chances of going all the way to a Wembley final with a number of Premier League rivals already out

FA Cup holders Manchester United will face Fulham in the last 16 after the draw for the fifth round was completed.

United left it late to book their spot in round five, with Harry Maguire scoring a controversial, stoppage time winner vs Leicester. The Red Devils are once again turning to the cups in order to salvage an otherwise miserable season.

Neighbours Manchester City, who were beaten by United at Wembley last season, will take on Plymouth after they avoided a massive upset against Leyton Orient. The League One side took the lead at Brisbane Road before the Premier League champions scored two second-half goals in a narrow 2-1 win.

Plymouth were the big shock winners in round four, overcoming Liverpool 1-0 in a memorable FA Cup tie at Home Park. Arne Slot’s side had been contending for four major honours before the Championship strugglers stunned them, with their reward now a tie against the 2023 winners.

The draw has opened up for several teams with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all failing to reach the latter stages. Aston Villa will face Cardiff after beating Tottenham, while Carabao Cup finalists Newcastle beat Birmingham City 3-2 in a thriller in the Midlands to set up a clash with Brighton.

There are still two ties of the fourth round to be played, with Doncaster taking on Crystal Palace on Monday evening, before Nottingham Forest face Exeter on Tuesday night.

Games will be played in the first weekend of March, before the quarter finals take place at the end of the month.
