Freddy Brazier has shared his thoughts on becoming a dad with girlfriend Holly Swinburn, admitting he has a potential baby name in mind already
Dad-to-be Freddy Brazier, 21, has revealed he doesn’t have a fixed address ahead of welcoming his first child into the world.
The youngest son of late Big Brother legend Jade Goody admitted he wasn’t living with dad Jeff Brazier, instead “couch surfing and loving life”, as he opened up about how he feels about becoming a parent himself.
Freddy and his pregnant on-off girlfriend, Holly Swinburn, made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Pride of Britain Awards last night. Posing together outside the Grosvenor Hotel in London together this evening, Freddy and Holly looked smitten and very much together.
In a new interview, Freddy disclosed: “I’m not living anywhere exactly. It’s a bit of a complicated one. I’m just staying with my friends, couch surfing and loving life. I love a sofa and an air bed.”
Chatting with Closer magazine, the dad-to-be shared how he plans to honour his late mother when his child arrives. “I actually think if the baby is a girl, I’ll call her Jade,” he admitted.
“I think that would be really mad to do so, but I don’t know. We might think of some other names, not that I prefer them, but no one can take that name away from me, so who knows?”
He later admitted he is surprised he hasn’t become a father sooner. “I always knew I was going to be a young dad,” he mused. “It was always going to come at some point. I’ve been silly in the past. I’m surprised it didn’t come earlier, but I’m happy.”
After announcing Holly’s pregnancy, Freddy broke his silence in August by taking to Instagram to share his joy with followers. He posted a photograph of the Canary Wharf skyline, writing in the caption: “I’m actually a DILF to be! !”. He has since posted snaps of Holly and referred to her as his ‘baby mother’.
Meanwhile, his brother Bobby recently revealed his excitement at becoming a “funcle”. Speaking to The Sun, he disclosed he learned the news from his father but ‘didn’t know what to believe’ at first.
Bobby went on to explain that the baby will bring the family together closer than ever before. He enthused: “It’s going to be a team effort. Undoubtedly it will bring us together. My dad is uber supportive and I’m hoping I can take some of that and raise the baby together.”
