Shortly after celebrating her 30th birthday, Jackie Apostel has shared how she came to meet and fall in love with her musician boyfriend Cruz Beckham, who is only 20-years-old
Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel has revealed how she met and feel in love with the youngest Beckham son. The songwriter, who turned 30 earlier this month, is a whole decade older than Cruz.
Jackie’s relationship with Cruz has become quite high-profile in recent months, as she has been snapped at multiple events with her boyfriend and his famous parents. The relationship has grown steadily stronger since their first public appearance in June 2024.
She has now revealed that she met the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham while working on his music in a recording studio. Taking to Instagram ahead of the music’s release, she posted a story directed at Cruz.

Jackie posted a picture of the artwork for his single and wrote next to it: “We first met when we were put in the studio by our managers to write some songs together. I was told you had been working on your own project for ages and shifting sounds a bit, finding yourself.
“I went in with an open mind and no idea what to expect. I left that day knowing you were an unbelievable musician but most importantly that you loved it so much from the bottom of your heart and you would never stop, regardless of what anyone else thought.
“During the time that work became friendship and friendship became us, you’ve gone out and found who you want to be right now and are finally ready to share it, and this is just a fun little warm up. I hope you guys are ready for what’s next.”
She concluded the post with: “@cruzbeckham, I am so proud of you. I love seeing you do everything you said you would. I am your biggest fan forever. I love you.”
Cruz is set to release his debut single, titled Optics/Lick The Frog, on 24 October and has been hinting at a music career for months on social media.
Recently, he performed a gig in East London, his first performance ever. Jackie also posted praise for her boyfriend from the audience. Alongside clips from the performance, she wrote: “unannounced, just working on his craft, doin his little thing, having fun, learning, preparing, all HIS songs made by HIM played by HIM sang by HIM, absolutely smashing it, I love you.”
This came shortly after Jackie felt the need to defend the age-gap between her and her boyfriend. A few weeks ago, when Jackie was still 29, someone commented on her Instagram post of Paris Fashion Week: “Why is a 29 year old dating a 20. That’s just weird. I’m talking about Jackie dating Cruz.”
Jackie responded with a series of compliments about her boyfriend: “Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal, and also quite handsome.”
