Gemma Collins performed on stage in front of an audience to test out her next potential endeavor and is now hinting that she would love to pursue a career in the music industry

Gemma Collins has teased the launch of a potential pop career, even hinting that she could challenge Christmas music queen Mariah Carey on the charts.

The TOWIE star has partnered with Baileys for the festive season and, earlier this week, led the Baileys Sip and Sing launch in London, where she wowed the crowd with a Christmas carol sing-along alongside the Gold Vocal Collective choir.

Reflecting on the experience, the 43-year-old told The Sun : “Oh hun, I was living my best life on that stage! Having The Gold Vocal Collective backing me and the crowd joining in – pure festive magic. I’m definitely feeling the buzz for more singing in 2025.”

“If the people want a GC Christmas tour, who am I to say no? It’s all about bringing joy, and if singing does that, I’m up for it!”

In 2020, Gemma was set to release a summer hit with music producer Naughty Boy, also known as Shahid Khan, but the collaboration ultimately fell through. Naughty Boy later explained to The Sun on Sunday: “I love the GC. I was going to do something with her as she can sing, but I have my priorities.

“I think she has potential but it has to come from her. She has to really want it. I wish her all the best with it.”

Gemma did end up releasing music In 2020. She teamed up with Darren Day for a Christmas single, Baby It’s Cold Outside, which charted on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Gemma’s close friends, Jedward, have recently released a new Christmas single titled LOVEmas, which debuted on December 6th. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, the former X Factor stars revealed their plans to spend Christmas Day with Gemma following a difficult update.

The pop stars told us: “Christmas is really sad, this year we’re going to be spending it with Gemma because most of our family have sadly passed. Gemma’s a real one, you know, having someone like Gemma in our lives has definitely been hugely uplifting. We spent Christmas with Gemma last year.”

Gemma and Jedward have been close friends for years, with the twins often traveling from Ireland to Essex to visit her. The trio have reportedly spent three Christmases together. Last Christmas, Gemma shared that the twins would be staying with her during the festive season and posted a video of them singing Feliz Navidad on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption. She wrote: “It’s OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS when @jepicpics (the twins’ Instagram page) come to stay for the whole time. The kindest people to me and real friends.”

Gemma will also be spending Christmas with her fiancé, Rami Hawash. After their engagement, Gemma became a stepmother to Rami’s son, Tristan.
