Savvy shoppers have flocked to social media after spotting the soaps for sale in Home Bargains stores
Home Bargains shoppers are known for their love of paying less for luxury. Many products have been sold through the discount stores that have been inspired by big name labels.
A line that has caught the attention of shoppers is the Designer Fragrances range that takes inspiration from popular scents in the perfume world like Dior’s Savage and more. A shopper noticed that the ‘Xalien’ scent, seemingly inspired by Thierry Mugler’s Alien, was given a new form.
Veberlia Mac, a member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, wrote: “Amazing smelling handwash only £1.29 to go with the room spray and body mist from Home Bargains!” Other shoppers were quick to respond to the new product being found.
One said: “It’s such a lovely smell. I’ll keep an eye out.” Another added: “Can’t wait to try this. I love these [alternatives].”
A third wrote: “I’ve got this all over the house. Such a good idea!” Someone else commented: “I got this last week with the shower gel. Had the blast can air freshener in this. They all smell good – like the perfumes!”
The brand recently took to Instagram to share that fans can find more of these products in some of their mst popular scents. In the post, a spokesperson said: “Hands up if you’ve managed to get your hands on our new hand washes and now have fabulous smelling… hands.”
The picture shows the Xalien variety as well as Tu Es Belle and Daisee. These lines are inspired by Lancôme’s iconic La Vie Este Belle and Marc Jacobs Daisy respectively.
In other Home Bargains news, shoppers have been gearing up for Christmas by scouring the affordable range of decorations being released by the store. This week, shoppers were in awe of a “cute” £4 wax burner that would complement any home going for the popular gingerbread theme this year.
Those who are planning to grab some easy gifts before the shopping season becomes very hectic can also treat their fellow Home Bargains fans to a simple voucher for the store. Released for the first time this year, shoppers said ‘what a time to be alive’ as the cards can hold anywhere from £10 to £150.
