Everton will host Liverpool in the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Wednesday night, with fans in the UK able to tune into the midweek Premier League action

Everton welcome Liverpool for the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park in what will surely be an emotionally-charged clash.

While the 245th derby was supposed to take place in December, bad weather conditions meant the much-anticipated fixture was postponed until February. It gave Arne Slot’s men a break during the busy Christmas period, although the Toffees now enter tonight’s game in the best form they’ve shown all season.

Under David Moyes – who’s now on a three-game league win streak in his second reign – Everton have begun veering away from the relegation zone with nine points now separating the 16th-placed side and Leicester City, who sit 18th in the table.

As for the Premier League leaders, a win tonight will see them move a potentially insurmountable nine points ahead of Arsenal, making this a critical game in the title race. With Everton moving to Bramley-Moore Dock next season, there’ll be the added emotional component as they look to take points off their bitter rivals. Mirror Football brings you all the information you need to know about how to watch the big game.

What time does Everton vs Liverpool kick off?

While midweek fixtures are usually more associated with a 7:45pm or 8pm kick-off, referee Michael Oliver will be getting proceedings underway at 7:30pm UK time.
