Kristin Cabot became engulfed in a scandal after she was caught cosying up to her boss, Andy Byron, at a Coldplay concert earlier this summer, but it appears her husband had already moved on
The woman caught in the Coldplay kiss cam scandal has found her relationship in tatters again. Kristin Cabot was caught getting rather cosy with her Astronomer boss, Andy Byron, at a concert in July, and once clips emerged, social media took off.
Kristin Cabot, 52, had been married to her husband, Andrew, 60, for two years when the HR executive and her boss were spotted by frontman Chris Martin, who first alluded to the pair having an affair. The pair appeared to be having the time of their lives as they rocked along to the music.
However, things changed once they spotted themselves on the big screen. With 66,000 fans inside the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough watching their movements, the pair was left completely red-faced as they scrambled to cover their tracks. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” said Chris.

At the time, it was claimed that Andrew had been in Japan when his wife headed to the concert. But now, sources have claimed that Andrew had already moved on from Kristin and was at the same concert, with his own date – but this was more low-key than Kristin and Andy.
The pair had been separated and living apart for several weeks when Kristin was caught. A source went on to explain that Kristin and Andrew’s split was amicable. She attended the concert with several work colleagues. Meanwhile, Andrew was reportedly there on a date with his new girlfriend.
“[Cabot] has felt like she can’t speak out as people in the middle of a divorce can’t say anything public,” a source told The Times. They went on to add: “Kristin wasn’t hiding, she doesn’t know why she ducked. She knew it was inappropriate to behave that way with her boss as the head of HR,” before explaining that the relationship between herself and her CEO was nothing more than a good friendship.
The source continued: “It was not that she was caught cheating, it was not some affair, she fully acknowledges [the hug] was inappropriate, but that was the only inappropriate thing she did.”
Kristin filed a petition to divorce her husband on August 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Meanwhile, CEO Andy was said to be separated and living apart from his wife, although they have not filed for divorce.
His wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, is said to have removed Byron from her name on social media before deactivating her page just one day after the concert kiss cam footage went viral. Kristin was caught in the arms of her boss but as soon as the camera panned to them and was revealed on the screens, she raised her hands to her mouth in shock, before they both scrambled to be out of view.
Frontman Chris Martin found the incident hilarious as he questioned whether the pair were having an affair, or were just shocked to be on the screens. Byron resigned from his position in the days after, while Kristin who had taken an extended period of leave, later went on to resign from her job in the HR department.
