Spiritual teacher Kyle Gray, who says he has seen, heard and spoken to angels from an early age, shares all of the signs that you have had a visit from a late loved one
Angels can show themselves in a number of ways and won’t visit unless you invite them, an angel whisperer says.
Spiritual teacher Kyle Gray says he has seen, heard and spoken to angels throughout his life and has garnered worldwide recognition for his teachings. Since the age of four, when he had his first spiritual encounter with his late grandmother, Kyle has been fascinated with angels.
He was named the youngest medium in the UK at the age of 17 and is now an international best-selling author of eight books. In his latest book, titled Angels Are With You Now, Kyle shares all of the signs that you have had a visit from a late loved one, and how to spot them.
Kyle, 37, remembers his first experience with his guardian angel, when he was reading a book and a little feather fell out of it. “Instantly a light came into the room and I experienced an overwhelming feeling of being loved,” he shares in an extract published by the Daily Mail. “The next morning when I woke up, there beside my bed was my guardian angel: a gigantic black presence wearing armour.” From then on, he committed himself to becoming an angel expert.
But how do you know if a feather is a visit from a loved one, or simply the result of a scrap between birds? Kyle says you will “feel a sudden sense of calm” when you spot it, and if you instantly feel connected to a loved one, then you should “trust your intuition” and listen to it. When you see a feather in an unusual place, you’ve likely been visited by an angel, he writes.
He believes that angels will never bring bad omens, only positive messages, and they are there to help us, even if their purpose doesn’t immediately seem clear. In order to make your encounters with angels more likely, Kyle says you should let go of negative energy that isn’t serving you, to raise your ‘vibration’. You can also follow a ritual to clear yourself of bad vibes.
Kyle says you should “visualise yourself surrounded by golden light” and picture it moving over your body. If you find this difficult, you can say an affirmation instead: “I am immersed in golden light. It has washed over my body from head to toe.” Then add: “Thank you, angels, for reminding me of your presence.” But what do visits look like, and how do you spot them?
Feathers are the best-known sign, and different colours signify different things, Kyle says. Black feathers symbolise angels absorbing your pain, while blue mean angels are encouraging you to open up. Green feathers acknowledge your capacity to love, and purple are a sign of a spiritual awakening.
An orange feather means angels are surrounding you with harmony and light, and a pink feather shows you’re surrounded by unconditional love. A red feather is an indication of physical support, and a white feather means your guardian angel wants you to know they are close by. Lastly, a yellow feather is an encouraging sign to focus on what’s good for you.
As well as feathers, angels can share messages through birds. Robins signify a departed loved one telling you they are still with you, Kyle says, while Magpies are a sign that a loved one is watching over us. Eagles, hawks and other birds of prey remind you to see the bigger picture and ultimately lead you to your greatest good.
Other animals and insects that are linked to angels include ladybirds, butterflies and dolphins, according to the Angel Whisperer. Ladybirds are symbols of happiness, butterflies signify great change in your life and dolphins are symbols of family, friendship and deep trust.
Meanwhile, rainbows are a sign that your prayers have been heard, and coins represent loved ones in heaven, particularly grandparents. Stars signify angels in heaven telling you they are proud of you. If you hear your name when no one is there, it’s a call to action. Finally, angel symbols, when you see them in statues or shapes, are signs that angels are listening. If an angel statue breaks, it signifies them drawing pain from you so you no longer have to carry it.
