We all know how we like our favourite food to be, but would you go as far as this woman? The gravy lover has gone viral after her antics on a girls night out recently

When we are hungry or treating ourselves to a meal out, we want our food to be exactly how we like it. But would you go to this extreme?

One woman has gone viral recently for her fussy food antics. While she didn’t see what the problem was, her friend couldn’t believe her eyes.

Vicki, shared a video of her and her friend Shaz on a girls night out on TikTok recently. They’d gone to a Wetherspoons pub in Ripley, Derberyshire, for a Christmas get together.

The pair ordered from the food menu and were excited for everything to arrive. Shaz’s favourite is chips and gravy – but she isn’t keen on Wetherspoons’ sauce so took matters into her own hands.

In the video, Vicki said: “Shaz, can you just repeat what you asked the water for?” To which she responded: “For a mug of boiling water and a teaspoon because Spoons don’t do gravy any more, they only do chicken gravy and I don’t like it.”

Vicki asked: “What have you got in your bag?” The gravy-loving friend declared “my gravy” as she held up a sandwich bag with granules inside it.

The mum said she didn’t bring the gravy container because her kids were having gravy at home while she was out. Vicki seemed very amused by Shaz’s hack, and added: “It is never a normal girls night with my and my friends.”

The gravy antics divided opinion as one said: “Guys, I’m trying so hard, but I’m judging.” “Never been so embarrassed,” said another.

Another wrote: “I was not expecting the actual granules. I thought she had a flask or something.” One other wrote: “My kind of woman. Gravy is life and I didn’t know they stopped doing it.”

“This is iconic, I fear,” added another. “This is the most northern thing I’ve ever seen,” added another.

An ex Wetherspoons employee said it isn’t the first time something like this has happened. He said: “As a previous Spoons employee I have seen examples of this as I’ve known people to have brought their own lamb sauce, mustard and other things they stopped doing so fair play.”

Another relating, said: “I’ve brought salad cream to Wetherspoons because they stopped doing it too.”
