A woman was reportedly fired from her corporate role after her employer found out about her side hustle, and they were less than impressed with the content she was posting
A young woman has been reportedly fired from her corporate job after they suddenly found out about her secret side hustle just five days into her new role.
26-year-old Annie Knight shared her experience on SBS’ Insight, saying that she was shocked that she was dismissed from the role due to the fact she has an OnlyFans account. Annie said that when she first started on the adult platform, where she claims she is in the top 0.4% of creators, she was apprehensive, but she never thought having an account would lead to her being fired from a job.
She was fired via email after just five days, and the email contained screenshots from her OnlyFans, saying that she hadn’t sought permission to run this business alongside her day job, and she shared ‘online pornographic images’ of herself with ‘crude language’, reports the Daily Mail.
Annie said she was “angry” and “upset” with the decision to sack her, as she’d been running her OnlyFans account since 2020 because she wanted to save up for a house. She did say, however, that she contested the decision, but “hated the job so much” that she was just prepared to let the situation go.
“‘I am pleased to [have been fired] to an extent, I’m a lot happier now and have a lot more freedom”, Annabelle told Jam Press. “I’m earning a considerable amount more now than I was at the other job.” Earlier this year, Annie appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show to discuss her side hustle, and she admitted to sleeping with 300 men and women in a year, saying that sex makes her “feel good”, and she’s “down to try anything.” She even said that sometimes, she’ll sleep with up to five people in one day, searching for people on dating apps – but also keeping a list of people who she’ll regularly meet up with.
