Amanda Holden hosted a party at her home yesterday over the bank holiday weekend, with guests including her pal Alan Carr and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli

A host of celebrities were invited to Amanda Holden’s house over the bank holiday weekend. She opened up the home she shares with her husband Chris Hughes and their two daughters for a party yesterday.

Amanda welcomed pals like Alan Carr to her home in Surrey to celebrate having renovated its garden. She said that family and friends joined her for a “Mexican garden party,” which saw one guest end up in her pool.

Fans have been given a glimpse into the event in posts on Instagram. Amanda hired a band to perform, whilst attendees were treated to food including churros and tacos, as well a van serving cocktails.

She said that it was an “amazing day”. She said in one post earlier today that “everything was bought and paid for”. She then gave a “big shout out” to event planners and vendors who had been involved with the party.

As well as Alan, guests included her Britain’s Got Talent colleague Bruno Tonioli and her Cutting It co-star Angela Griffin. Hayley Mills, who played Amanda’s on-screen mother on Wild at Heart, was also present.

Former MasterChef judge John Torode and his wife, actor Lisa Faulkner, who is one of Amanda’s long-time friends, were there too. The guest list also included actor Nicola Stephenson, TOWIE’s Sam Faiers and This Morning host Siân Welby, whose partner Jake Beckett currently works with Amanda at Heart Radio.

Amanda’s pal Tamzin Outhwaite was among the other celebrities in attendance. Footage shared by the host showed the former EastEnders cast member in the swimming pool, with her saying that Alan had pushed her into it. Amanda wrote on Instagram: “Thanks to Faye for helping my darling friend [Tamzin] get out of the pool after a naughty [Alan] pushed her in.”
